RAL 3005

A beautiful claret, deep red in a stylish wine glass… For many people such a sight has a certain special something, an elegance. What is known today as this colour shade can be found in the list of RAL colours under the number 3005 and was even part of the selection of RAL Classic colours from 1927. The term “Wine red” describes a full, dark red tone with a very slight tinge of blue. The colour, often also called “Bordeaux”, radiates a certain warmth and elegance. It provides pleasant colour accents in fashion, particularly during cooler seasons. It is also often used as a warm colour in interior decoration. By the way: the red in wine does not come from the pulp, but from the skin of the grapes. Thus, red grapes can also produce white wine.
